The SIG Mosquito is a blowback operated semi-automatic pistol based on the Sig Sauer P226 but chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. The pistol is manufactured by the Swiss company Swiss Arms. The Mosquito is built with a polymer frame and features an integrated accessory rail, adjustable sights, a manual decocker, and a slide-mounted ambidextrous manual safety. The Mosquito is offered in five different configurations, including one with a threaded barrel.
