[edit] Is in Extinction yes or no?

nececito saber esto.....

Sienna will not reprise her role as Jill Valentine, due to shedule conflicts with Eragon. (Look up Jill Valentine and scroll down. It will say that Sienna stated that.) -Bronzeshurtugal

[edit] Trivia

I have removed the trivia entry related to her smoking. Its a piece of information not important enough to be included in an encyclopaedia. She may decide not to smoke tomorrow, she may change her brand, she may switch over to something else. The information is neither constant, nor does it serve any real purpose to the reader. So I removed it. --Soumyasch 13:59, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Should we remove pictures because people change how they look? Wikipedia is for information first and foremost. If there is information that people want to learn about a given topic, it should be present, regardless of how you feel about "fansiteishness".

The only time I ever saw her smoking, was in, 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse'. Other than that, I don't know if she smokes on her own will. (Because for her role as Jill, obviolusly, she had to smoke.) -Bronzeshurtugal

[edit] Restructuring

The article should be restrucured by expanding the biography section. Many pieces of information are scatterred in the article, which should be put in the biography section. And the professional life section may be split into two. Please suggest. If none objects, I will do the changes. --Soumyasch 14:02, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

No one objected. So I am doing it. --Soumyasch 07:56, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Do you think that no one objecting makes something right?
  • So revert it if you have a problem. If not, knock off the attitude. Oh, and 4 tildes after you post. Like this: 67.10.149.92 04:54, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Is there any reason why no'one has added sienna's myspace site (www.myspace.com/siennaguillory) to the links section? 213.42.21.76 12:54, 18 December 2006 (UTC)new_editor

[edit] Pronounciation

How is Guillory pronounced? (In general, I would like to see pronounciations for peoples names in Wikipedia. For an example, see Anne Heche.) --125.229.198.96 08:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Ok, several sources on the web seem to indicate the pronounciation is the anglicized "Gill-or-ee" (makes sense). I haven't yet checked how this translates to IPA. They also point to the Resident Evil: Apocalypse DVD Commentary as a source, but I don't have the DVD so I can't confirm. --125.229.217.208 07:37, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Correct birth date?

IMDb has her birth date as March 16, 1975.. Here it is listed as May 31, 1975. Which is correct?

March 16, 1975 - I have corrected and added a reference Xn4 01:18, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Good article assessment

Hi, I have reviewed this article and am going to place it on hold. Please address the problems I've listed and I'll reassess it. There aren't too many and shouldn't be to difficult to do quite quickly. I'll go through as per the Good Article criteria:

1.It is well written.

Not to bad here, I only have a few things:
  • Lead needs expansion as per WP:LEAD
  • "died of caner" cancer?
  • "in living a healthier lifestyle" healthy?
  • wiki-link pounds
  • "gained $51,201,453 domestically" where is domestically? Is that the US? You should say that instead if so.
  • "families - a young couple in 1968 that have lost a child, a family of four in 1998, and a pregnant couple in 2008 - who are haunted" I think those dashes should be mdashes; see WP:DASH.
  • Another thing, if this is about an English actress I'm pretty sure it should use British English. There is a lot of American spelling in there, and I believe it should be changed.
  • "Esquire voted Guillory "Britain's Most Eligible Woman" and featured her in a pictorial in the magazine" This is no fullstop here.

2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.

My only problem here is some of the references lack dates, and aren't correctly formated. You use {{Cite web|}} where {{cite news|}} should be used, and where possible you should include the date of the article (as well as the accessdate). This shouldn't be hard to fix.

3. It is broad in its coverage.

Does well here

4. It is neutral

No problems here

5. It is stable

No edit wars that I can see

6. It is illustrated, where possible and appropriate, by images.

The image Image:Sienna Guillory Esquire.jpg may not meet fair use rationale. Just because she was on the cover (and the fact this is mentioned) may not be good enough rationale. Unless the cover itself is discussed, which it is not, I don't think it will meet fair use rationale. Why is this cover notable? Is there anything about it that is especially worth discussing, apart from the fact Guillory is on it? Should probably be removed.

Overall I think the article is good, and except for those few fixes above is GA standard. I will not fail the article until at least three days after this have been posted, but beyond that I make no promises. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me on my talk page. Thanks. - Shudde talk 22:37, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Expanded the lead, corrected "caner" to "cancer", fixed healthy, and fixed issues tothe th $ and U.S. domestic gross, added mdashes where appropriate, and formatted the references. I also added information to the Esquire magazine shoot, and I'm currently trying to find sources for more information so it won't be original research.
Cconcerning the use of British English, I'm not sure I'd be able to know how to convert the article because I am not familiar with the British spellings and such. I was under the impression for subjects exclusively related to England, one would use British English. However, if it is an international topic, use whatever form of English the original author used. Many of the sources, and much of Guillory's fame is in America, so would one use American English then? I'm not entirely sure exactly.-Lindsey8417 00:51, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I know her fame is international, but still, is prob better to use British English. I'll have a look through when you are done and change the spelling where appropriate. I don't think there are many changes needed. - Shudde talk 01:01, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I went and corrected some of the words into British English: modeling --> modelling, favorite --> favourite, criticizing --> criticizsing. As far as other changes concerning British English, I'm not familar enough with it to know beyond some research into those spellings I just edited. However, I don't believe there to be that many other words here that could be changed to the British English spelling. -Lindsey8417 01:21, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Xn4 is editing the article quite a bit, and speaks British English. Maybe when you are done Xn4 will go through and check all the spelling? - Shudde talk 02:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I have asked the help of Xn4 and hopefully they will make some other British English related edits. But besides, that, is there anything else that can be fixed? -Lindsey8417 03:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I have struck what has been done. The fair use rationale for the second picture will stand up a little better now, but don't be surprised if someone tries to argue it shouldn't be here. Do the last couple of things then if you can get Xn4 to read through and check the spelling that would be good. Let me know when it's all done. - Shudde talk 20:24, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I've passed this. Congratulations to all those who worked on it, good work! - Shudde talk 09:22, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dino Crisis 2

Some confusion may have crept in because Sienna was suggested as a possible Regina for Dino Crisis 2. This may be largely to do with how much Sienna in Resident Evil 3 looks like Regina in Dino Crisis. Xn4 13:53, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

When I was looking for changes related to Dino Crisis, I found that another editor had went on the Dino Crisis article and posted an entire cast list for the film (which I don't even think is technically being made into a film yet either, or at least, it hasn't gotten to that stage of production). The cast list was copied directly from a forum that I found using a google search, which leads me to believe someone thought that was the official cast list or it was the forum poster themselves and added it to the article. Aside from that, something tells me Cillian Murphy, Sienna, Jensen Ackles, Kiefer Sutherland and Ryan Gosling are not all going to be in a Dino Crisis film. -Lindsey8417 (talk) 18:58, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Changes

I made some changes per OTRS ticket#2008020110014947, I have asked the subject for more sources but please don't revert these changes. Guy (Help!) 22:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
