hello Jerrch,
do you happen to have the number of casualty that matches your number of garrison? it doesn't make sense if there are only 1,200 men defending the fort but 1,600 of them died during the siege. --K kc chan (talk) 19:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- It says, [The Dutch governors] had warned the directors of the East India Company...that it would be impossible to stop a landing with only their regular garrison of about 1,200 men. So I'm not sure if more soldiers went, it does not say in the book.--Jerrch 15:54, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
