Sieves House

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sieves House, in portuguese Casa dos Crivos, it's a 16th Century house in São João do Souto, Braga, Portugal.

Nowadays is the only example of the type of house peculiar to the town in the 16th Century.

Shows monastic influence, the windows being shuttered, thus lending them a special religious atmosphere of devotion and retreat.
