Siegfried Mauser (born in Munich in 1954) is a German pianist.

He studied piano with Rosl Schmid and Alfons Kontarsky, musicology, philosophy, art history in Munich and Salzburg.

1981–83 lecturer in musicology and piano in Munich, was professor of piano in Würzburg, of musicology in Salzburg; now chancellor at the University of Music Munich.

Numerous publications, extended solo and chamber music performances.
