Siege of Cork

Siege of Cork took place in the year of 1690, shortly after the Battle of the Boyne when James II attempted to retake the English throne from King William III. It was a bloody battle. French, English and Dutch soldiers were killed as well as civilians. The English were lead by John Churchill. His base was Red Abbey, just outside the wall city.
