[edit] Character outline

Sieg Hart is a powerful elementalist, able to control any and all elements as he wishes (water, thunder, fire, wind, earth, and poison), therefore earning him the title of Elemental Master. He is one of the remaining Time Guards, who made their goal to preserve the natural order of things. The Etherium energy was considered a threat and thus Sieg had to destroy Elie to ensure the safety of the world. His hometown is Mildean, village of clocks, and comprised mainly of magicians.

He first appears both in the anime and manga when he is trying to kill Elie, whom he considered a threat to time because of her power, Etherion, a destructive ethereal force which Resha Valentine used to create "holy bring" 50 years ago. However, Haru stopped him by proving that Etherion can be temporarily sealed with the power of Rave, by using Runesave.

He seems highly knowledgable, often reading when he's free. He has distinctive blue hair and a tattoo under his right eye, which all citizens of Mildean seems to have.

He is very loyal to Haru and his group, most especially Elie. During their second meeting Sieg Hart vowed to protect Elie and was true to his word.

[edit] Demon Card

Sieg Hart was originally a member of Demon Card, however, the reason that he joined is to eliminate the leader of Demon Card, King as he holds the power to warp time using the Enclaim every "Touki no majimaru bi" or "Time-Crossing day". However, what made Sieg Hart delay this plan was the surprising revival of Elie, the girl whom he thought he had killed in a laboratory by the west of Song Continent. However, King knew all along about his plan, but still hire him because he was tempted by his element power. After Elie's Etherion power is sealed by Haru, Sieg Hart left Demon Card.

Sieg hart is an accomplished magician and elementalist. He used spatial magic, Altealice on Haru when Haru was trying to protect Elie. Altealice traps the victim in a timeless void, when the victim thinks of anything painful, someone dear to them will appear and "die" for them to take away their pain. The victim will eventually die out of pure fear and become a complete vegetable. He then used Gran Sairo against the Oracion Seis when he was trying to save Haru and his friends. In both manga and anime, he performed countless of both impressive magic and element skills.

He also used advanced magic to create a barrier to protect Resha's grave.

[edit] Anime

Sieg's appearance in anime is far lesser than in manga series. This is due to the anime being cancelled. The anime does not illustrate Sieg Hart any different from the manga. The last of his appearance was in episode 51, which is also the last episode for the anime. The anime was cancelled long before several of Sieg Hart's more significant roles in the series.

[edit] Manga

Raised in the town of Mildea, Sieg Hart was brought up with an overwhelming desire to protect Time. Etherion, the incredible power that lay within Elie, threatened to destroy the Timestream. Sieg Hart thought that by killing Elie, he could stop the revival of Etherion. During their first encounter, however, he was proven wrong when Haru was able to seal Etherion within Elie with his sword, Runesave. After revealing that one of the Rave stones was located on the Luca Continent, Sieg Hart left the scene a changed man.

He then reappeared saving Haru and his friends from the Oracion Six and claimed that he had to protect Elie. He apologised to Elie and confessed that his previous actions were because he was afraid Elie would lose control of Etherion and destroy the timestream. Sieg Hart felt guilty that he almost killed Elie when she didn't have to die, so he swore that he would protect her.

During that encounter, he managed to overpower all of the Oracion Six except Haja, showing that he had a lot in strength since their first meeting. It was then revealed by Haja that Sieg Hart used the Heavenly Magic Circle to enhance his magic power. With Haru, he stopped Haja's attack and told him that, "When you put magic into a sword, it's invincible", which causes Haja to order the Oracion Six to retreat

Sieg Hart told Haru and his friends about Lucia, the blond demon. He explained that Lucia was trying to make the planet his, and the only way to defeat him was with Rave and Elie's memory. He also told them that Etherion is the only way to restore the broken Rave stones to its original state in order to defeat Lucia's Sinclaire.

He pointed out that Elie's arm tattoo is a hint to her memory and that 'Elie' or '3173' were both correct, because they formed the coordinates 'ELIE 3173'. Sieg Hart went with Haru and his friends to the coordinates, where they found a skeleton atop a huge boulder. The skeleton was guarding the entrance to a secret grove with highly advanced barrier magic. To their surprise, the corpse was wearing the exact same necklace of the one Elie was wearing now. Elie walked within the grove alone and discovered Resha Valentine's grave. There Elie regained some of her memories, but nothing else was found, so the party left, promising to return when they had found all the Rave stones.

After declining to join Haru and his friends on their journey, Sieg Hart points out that Elie and Ruby have the potential to learn Magic. He also makes a vow with Haru that "Someday magic and sword will become one" and to meet back at the grave when Haru obtains all the Raves, so that they can fight Lucia together. After Elie thanks him and tells him that she holds no grudges against his previous cruelties toward her, he tells Haru to take care of Elie and walks off into the sunset.

However, by that time doubt had crept into his mind. Because fifty years ago Resha died after creating the Rave, he was unsure if Elie would die trying to combine them.

Later, he returns home to the village of clocks, Mildea. However, Haja had got to Mildea first and tricked the Mildeans. Sieg Hart was betrayed by his closest friends and thrown into prison. He manages to escape, but is intercepted by the citizens of Mildea. After defeating them all, he and Haja battled each other for seven days straight. He finally managed to defeat Haja, using a normal wooden staff and the thunder sword "Houken" (the name is heard when he chanted to kill Elie with a thunder sword in the anime) and earned the title "Daimadou" which means "Almighty Sorcerer"

Much later, Sieg Hart was confronted by Lucia, who demanded to have the Sinclair that he was hiding. Sieg Hart put up a fight but was soon overwhelmed and it was revealed that he had the Sinclair hiding inside his own body. Lucia tore it from his body and seemingly killed him in the process. However, he survived, thanks to Shuda's timely arrival.

Still bearing his injuries from his fight with Lucia, Sieg Hart joins Haru and Elie at Resha's grave. There, they are sucked into a portal and arrive in Symphonia, 50 years ago. During his time there he figures out that Elie is actually Resha Valentine, the creator of Rave, and Elie manages to recover all her memories. They returned to the area they had arrived, where Resha's grave would soon be built. There a time portal had appeared, but the time portal was not the same as the one they used to get to the past. This time portal was caused by a rift in time, meaning that if they go in the time portal, they could end up in any random time era. The only way to get home safely was to have a magician control the time portal from outside. Since Haru and Elie were not capable of this, Sieg Hart pushed them into the portal, sacrificing himself despite Haru and Elie's protest. He then told the crying Elie, who was fast vanishing in the portal, that he wished her a happy life. After the time portal closes, Sieg Hart collapses from exhaustion.

He wakes up four days later, realizing there were still 361 days until overdrive, during which he could not speak to anyone, eat anything or do anything so that he would not alter even a tiny bit of history. He is then interrupted by 2 people, a girl and a man in cloaks. He quickly hides himself behind a tree and realizes that the girl is Resha who is visiting her grave. It had been built near the location he collapsed a few days prior. While Resha mourns in front of her grave, he watches quietly and budges out unintentionally when he sees her take out the heart-shaped necklace that Elie lost during their travel in the past, shocking Resha in the process. He then apologizes and asks her if he could have the necklace, explaining that it belongs to a precious friend that he will never be able to see again.

Resha walks over and hands him the necklace, while Sieg Hart fights the urge to hug her and holds back his tears. Instead he forces a smile and a 'thank you'. The man in cloak then shouts to Resha, asking her "who's there". A frantic Resha asks Sieg if he knows who she is, to which he promptly replied no. Relieved, Resha leaves the grave, but not before turning around to tell him that the owner of the necklace must be really happy to have such a good man cherishing their friendship. Her words made Sieg form the resolve to guard Resha's grave forever with his life. Wearing the necklace, he sits down on a huge boulder in front of Resha's grave.

Haru and Elie arrived back in the present and realised that the skeleton that had been guarding Resha's grave was actually Sieg Hart. For fifty years Sieg Hart protected the grave with his life, and even after he died his spirit continued to protect the grove. Discovering that Sieg had protected her for 50 years, Elie breaks down in tears, holding on to the skeleton of Sieg Hart, crying her heart out.
