Article

19th Chess Olympiad

Portion used

The entire logo is used, in low resolution.

Low resolution?

The logo is only used once and is rendered in low resolution to avoid piracy. Use of the logo does not in any way limit the ability of the copyright owners to market or sell their product. The logo is of much lower resolution than the original, and would not be mistaken for the original. Any copies made from this logo would be of inferior quality.

Purpose of use

The logo is significant in identifying the subject of the article, which is the historical event itself. It is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification for informational and educational purposes. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, but there is in any case no perceived commercial purpose for the original product.

Replaceable?

There is only one logo that pertains and therefore no free equivalent exists that would effectively identify the article's subject.

Other information Use of this logo in the above article complies with Wikipedia non-free content policy and fair use under United States copyright law as described above.
