I don't think it's appropriate to add opinion to an entry. Under the entry for "Sidney Lowe" were the following remarks: "Herb also was known to take it in the ass everytime NCSU played Duke and UNC. Thank god that bastard is gone." While I may agree with the thought, it should have no place in a "factual" database. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.37.64.6 (talkcontribs) 20:14, 4 May 2006 (UTC).

That's definitely a better picture than the one I uploaded. I wanted to use a promo picture since I knew it wouldn't have copyright problems. It seemed funny to me that you could ALWAYS see Sid smile... except in that one picture. Ncsupimaster 02:27, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Isn't there a picture on NCState's website that would be uploadable under fair-use as a publicly-funded source? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.14.74.254 (talk • contribs) 01:54, 9 March 2007 (UTC).
No. Fair use images are not fair use when they are just illustrating an individual. Anything on State's website would be a copyrighted publicity photo - and since they'd fail the hurdles for fair use, we couldn't use them. Basically, we'll need a picture taken by a Wikipedia editor or otherwise put into the realm of GFDL or PD. Remember, though, that publicly-funded source does not equal public domain. —C.Fred (talk) 02:23, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Could be first to win ACC title as player and coach

Per the pregame reporting (Scott Pryzwansky courtside reporting, on the regional coverage), Lowe could be the first person to win an ACC title as a player and as a coach. Mentioning it here so we can cite the aircheck as a source, at least until ESPN puts it on their website. :) —C.Fred (talk) 17:10, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
