The IMDb has a number of things wrong about Davis--he was *not* in Die Duve; he has many more films he produced which aren't listed; there are at least 3 Boys Beware, 3 Girls Beware, and 3 Dangerous Stranger, and Davis was *not* born in Hollywood. Koyaanis Qatsi
- I'm trying to help the IMDb get their Sid Davis/Sidney Davis information sorted out. Everything about "Sidney Davis" except Die Duve is really about "Sid Davis," though the trivia about his birthplace is incorrect. The production comapny is called "Sid Davis Productions," and was also the distributor. There is no "Sidney Davis Productions." Koyaanis Qatsi 01:41 8 Jun 2003 (UTC)

- They just won't change some of the incorrect information they have. I don't know why--they added the trivia for Age 13 and Gang Boy but don't belive that the films are in color. I could send screenshots, really, but at this point I think I'd just rather sit back and laugh at them. And yes, the Sid Davis/Sidney Davis stuff is still a mess. IIRC, "Name Unknown" was in color, while Girls Beware was B&W, so are you sure they go in that order? Thanx 68.39.174.150 04:09, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
Sid told me (Rick Prelinger) that he shot all of his films in color, except his first, Dangerous Stranger. However, almost all purchasers opted for cheaper B&W prints, so color prints are rare. The color versions of "Age 13," "Gang Boy," "Terrible Truth," "Name Unknown" and "The Gossip" that many have seen come from Kodachrome prints that Sid gave me and I then digitized and put online at the Internet Archive, though there may be others in circulation as well.

There is a Sid Davis that lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He wrote a comedy novel entitled Space Available. It is one of the funniest plotted books that I have ever read.
