Sidney Harris (also known as S. Harris) is a cartoonist, best known for his cartoons related to science, mathematics and technology. He was born in Brooklyn, New York some time before World War II[1] and has been drawing science cartoons at least since the 1970s.[1][2] His work has appeared in numerous scientific journals and science fiction magazines, and has been republished in twelve collections.[2] He was elected an honorary member of Sigma Xi, a scientific honor society, in 1997.[2][3]
