Sidney Allard

Sidney Allard (died 1966) was the founder of the Allard car company. He won the 1949 British Hill Climb Championship at the wheel of a Steyr-Allard. He also competed in the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans, sharing an Allard car with Philip Fotheringham-Parker, but the team were the first to retire, after completing just four laps.
