Sidi Moro Sanneh

Sidi Moro Sanneh (born 1947) is a Gambian economist who currently serves as minister of industry, trade and employment of that country.
Sanneh studied and worked in the United States, particularly in urban development. He joined the Gambian civil service in 1977. He later became an advisor to the United Nations and worked as a director at the African Development Bank from 1992 until 2002. He became foreign minister of The Gambia on October 14, 2004 and served in that position until March 24, 2005 when he moved to the position of minister of industry, trade and employment during a cabinet reshuffle. He was then in November 2005 made Ambassador of Gambia to Senegal up until 2006.
