Siderosis is the deposition of iron in tissue.
When used without qualification, it usually refers to an environmental disease of the lung.
Also Siderosis Bulbi, Deopsition of iron in the bulb Causing night blindness
Causative agent – Iron oxide present in welding material, foundries, iron ore mining.
Similar in pathophysiology to Asbestosis
