Siddique is a Malayalam movie director. He teamed up with Lal (Siddique-Lal) to give Malayalam film industry some of its all time super hit films. Comedy is the genre of his films. He started his career assisting director Fazil in his movies. The duo of Siddique and Lal was spotted by Fazil when he saw them performing mimicry in the Cochin Kalabhavan mimics troupe. All along his career as a director he has never given a flop movie. The duo later split up with Siddique continuing with his directorial ventures whereas Lal turned into acting and production. Giving English titles to films is a peculiar style he follows. None of Siddique's films have become flops. In fact all of them have went on to become superhits. His films are with English titles.
