Siddhartha

Siddhartha or Siddharta is the birth name of the historical and religious figure Gautama Buddha, known as the Buddha. Siddhartha is made up of two Sanskrit language words, siddha (gotten) + artha (meaning). The two words together mean "One who has found meaning (of existence)".
Siddhartha may also refer to:
- Siddhartha (novel), a fictional book about the life of a man (not the Buddha) named Siddhartha, by Hermann Hesse
- Siddhartha (film), the 1972 film of the book, directed by Conrad Rooks
- Siddharta (band), a Slovene rock band
