Sibiu International Airport or Aeroportul International Sibiu (IATA: SBZ, ICAO: LRSB) serves the historic city of Sibiu; it is located in southern Transylvania, about 360 km northwest of Romania's capital city, Bucharest. As of december 2006 the airport passes through the most important rehabilitation program in its history, a 60 mil. euros investment in a new terminal building and in runway upgrade.
