N Not done pending attribution to reliable sources of some sort. I gather there's an intense argument going on. – Luna Santin (talk) 21:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia is for unbiased opinions - encyclopedia articles, not angered people that got fired from a university. You are giving your own biased opinion, and that is not what Wikipedia is about. You may be right about a bunch of new teachers coming to teach at the university, but you are wrong about the reasons. The new teachers sought to bring unity to Peter Hall, rather than disunity and fighting. This disunity is evidenced by your continued anger displayed on Wikipedia. That is the type of behavior that SIAS wanted to eliminate. Tons of organizations recruit Christian teachers to go overseas. (See elic.org, teachoverseas.org, etc, etc), but the main goal at SIAS is not to find Christian teachers like these other organizations, it is to find unity between all the teachers so there are no issues for ICED to deal with. I'm sorry you had a bad experience at SIAS, but Wikipedia is not the place to voice your disatisfaction and you are doing readers a disservice because they just want to read about an East v. West university in China. Thanks.

[edit] Need NPOV

I read the SIAS University article today. It surprised me because one sentence expressed a very personal point of view. Then I looked at the revision history, and found that there's been a revert war running on this page for over three months. Of course, I don't know the pros and cons of this particular grievance, but it's apparent that someone had a bad experience with the university and is trying to attack it.

I'm a fairly frequent contributor to Wikipedia. The NPOV policy is vital, and just about all the pages I've seen adhere to it pretty well. I hope that this wasteful and bitter revert war can be stopped.

[edit] Is this all needed?

I have one thing to say. This article has no meaning of signifigance. The editing war that has been going on is useless. I see no point in all this arguing over this insignifigant article. SIAS univerity isn't really "recognized" too. Im just saying this so the administrators can think it over. Im not putting a Article for Speedy Deletion template becouse one, I don't want to start up a domestic incident, and two, Theres like no more space for templates either.
