Sorry, the IPA symbols are useless for knowing how to pronounce the name. Is it Shawn? See-ahn? Shann? Shine? Shone? Or what? What sound modification does the circumflex indicate?Yeshechoden 03:22, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

They're only useless if you don't know that /ː/ means the vowel is long. But I suppose we could add 'approximately "Shaan"' or some such thing. garik 19:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
