- Support as Sian Phillips would redirect. David Kernow 12:30, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support: I know several Siâns, and some can get very very tired of people dropping the circumflex. It's the twenty-first century, we can do accents. Telsa (talk) 18:15, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support and have Sian Phillips redirect. I know a few Welsh Siâns too, all spell it with the circumflex. (Sloman 12:06, 27 June 2006 (UTC))
- Well, no one's against and I can't imagine why anyone would be against. So does anyone know how to request assistance on getting this moved? Because Siân Phillips has an edit history, I can't just move it myself. garik 13:00, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- You listed it on WP:RM, so we just have to wait for someone to clear the backlog; or poke an admin.Telsa (talk) 20:04, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'd recommend waiting; should only be a few days. Regards, David Kernow 21:43, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, the IPA symbols are useless for knowing how to pronounce the name. Is it Shawn? See-ahn? Shann? Shine? Shone? Or what? What sound modification does the circumflex indicate?Yeshechoden 03:22, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
