Shyheim (born Shyheim Dionel Franklin on November 14, 1977[1], in Brooklyn, New York) is a rapper and actor who is a cousin to Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan and is a member of the affiliated group West Coast Killa Beez. He has released a total of four solo albums and is believed to be working in the studio on his fifth album with featured artist such as Mýa and Ol' Dirty Bastard's younger brother, and also production by The Heatmakerz and RZA. The album will include a documentary DVD on his life.

After moving to Staten Island from Brooklyn as a child Shyheim spent time living with Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah in the Stapleton Houses. He became affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan and released his first single "On and On" in 1993. His debut album AKA the Rugged Child was released in 1994 when he was only 14 years old. That same year he performed alongside DJ Mister Cee, The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Scoob Lover and Big Daddy Kane at a concert at Madison Square Garden. He also appeared on the classic posse cut "Show & Prove" on Big Daddy Kane's album Daddy's Home alongside Scoob Lover, Sauce Money, Jay-Z and Ol' Dirty Bastard. Shyheim appeared in the music video for TLC's #1 hit single "Waterfalls" playing the main character. He has since been acting in film and television starting in 1996 with the movies Original Gangstas, The Preacher's Wife, In Too Deep and television sitcom The Parent 'Hood. Shyheim had a daughter named Skye on July 21, 2004.

Following his release from a 2 year stay in prison, In 2005 he was the subject of a reality show.[2] He is current involved in a feud with Raekwon from the Wu Tang Clan.[3]
