[edit] U Thant

The article on U Thant claims he is buried at the foot of the Shwedagon Paya. Can anyone confirm this and add something to this article? Rhomboid Man 15:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, on Shwedagon Paya Road near the southern approach to the stupa. Wagaung 23:42, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] IPA pronunciation

That IPA listing is very definitely NOT the pronunciation of the English language name. perhaps it should be made clear in the article header exactly what that IPA transcription is of? Rhialto 09:11, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

I've rearanged th IPA pronunciations to match the different titles of the pagoda: Paya and Zedi Daw. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 23:38, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
