[edit] External links
External links on Wikipedia are supposed to be "encyclopedic in nature" and useful to a worldwide audience. Please read the external links policy (and perhaps the specific rules for medicine-related articles) before adding more external links.
The following kinds of links are inappropriate:
- Online discussion groups or chat forums
- Personal webpages and blogs
- Multiple links to the same website
- Fundraising events or groups
- Websites that are recruiting for clinical trials
- Websites that are selling things (e.g., books or memberships)
I realize that some links are helpful to certain users, but they still do not comply with Wikipedia policy, and therefore must not be included in the article. There are a lot of links at the end of this article, and some pruning by the regular editors here is probably in order. WhatamIdoing (talk) 07:30, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] SDS Information Blog
I tried to add a link to a blog that just has information on Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome and was told to come here to talk about it? www.shwachman.blogspot.com The blog format makes it easy for people to navigate subject matter related to Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome. I don;t know how the talk page works, but I wanted to put this out there and see if anyone wouldbe able to add it to the external links page at some point, if it is deemed to be an appropriate site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.48.24.106 (talk) 15:42, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
