Hi there,

My purpose for editing in Wikipedia is to make this encyclopedia a place for information about any subject. I am editing in Scientology-related articles as I am very familiar with that subject, not because someone asked me to do so or because I get some personal advantages out of that. I am doing my best to create and maintain articles which are not off-balance by rumors and disinformation. Unfortunately a lot of internet users and also Wikipedians were bought off in the past years by some hair-raising off-wiki "information" about Scientologists, Scientology etc.. I invite everyone to have a sharp look also on the sources of such information, if they are named at all. Decide for yourself how much you trust people in real life who are only talking negatively about a subject and seem not able to stop complaining about somebody or something.

My time is a bit restricted up to the end of the year but I'll try to be on here regularly. For less urgent communications please use the talk page, otherwise I check my email every day.

PS: I have been editing as COFS earlier but this name was not allowed by Wikipedia, so I changed to Shutterbug, which also is much more in alignment with my "other life". My COFS-edits have been reattributed to my new username since.
