Shu was brought kicking and screaming into this world 21 years ago on a dark stormy night. 11 years of formal schooling in a highly conservative all-girls' public school in Teluk Intan has greatly curtailed Shu's ability to interact with members of the opposite sex. Fortunately, university and three years of co-ed college life may still save her from a life of prudish spinsterhood.

She is now studying law, accounting and finance at the University of Melbourne and is a resident of Trinity College, where she was once a Residential Advisor and Chair of the Student IT Committee. She used to be fairly involved in University, namely as an office bearer with the Overseas Students Service and a student ambassador under the University's Leadership Program. She is currently an assistant editor of the Melbourne University Law Review editorial board and is primarily responsible for its presence in Wikipedia. She also runs her own IT consulting business, and assists with the set-up and web administration of an up-and-coming centre for international criminal and humanitarian law. She paralegals and works in a library when not studying at university.
