Shufeng Bai (simplified Chinese: 柏树丰; traditional Chinese: 柏樹豐; pinyin: Bǎi Shù Fēng) is nanotechnology engineer who works on nanofabrication and related technologies including nanophotonics, nano-optoelectronics,nanofluidics and nanobiotechnologies. He got his Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Peking University China. He was working with Prof. Qi Ouyang on the dynamics of spiral waves in reaction-diffusion system. He got his Master of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. Now he is studying towards his Ph.D. in Princeton University. He works with Prof. Stephen Chou on nanoimprint lithography and its applications. He is expecting to get his Ph.D in 2006.

- Demonstrated spectrum narrowing and wavelength stabilization of high power semiconductor lasers using innovative external cavity configuration
- Demonstrated a single mode diode laser with an external cavity using a subwavelength resonant grating (SRG) filter as a frequency selective element
- Invented a novel process to fabricate large area high density nanofluidic channels for applications in nanobiotechnology, such as stretching single DNA molecule
- Developed a novel process to fabricate large area ordered two-dimensional array of nanorings of various materials such as gold, platinum, nickel and cobalt
- Established a process to make high aspect ratio ultra-smooth grating structures through the combination of DRIE and anisotropic wet etching
- Developed a process using nanoimprint lithography to make high aspect ratio deep structures

Shufeng played soccer in middle school and basket ball in high school. He learned Chinese martial arts and swim in college.
Starting from 2004, he occationally plays the international game GeoCaching, in which a player seeks the pre-hinden "cache" with hints from GPS and other information.
Now he is learning figure skating slowly.

Shufeng Bai was on November 23, 1977 in Keshang Township, Heilongjiang Province, China. He is father was a carpenter in a small village of rural northeastern China.
