I removed wrong information. While I would be happy to see that IPC has the longest runway in South America, this is not true. IPC is not in South America. GRU in Sao Paulo has a runway over 1,000 ft. longer. There may be other airports in South America with longer runways. Archtrain 17:26, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
There is no evidence to support the claim that the Soviet Union wanted the shuttle.
