[edit] International Schools in Shunyi
I think that the teachers and students of 京西学校 (Western Academy of Beijing; WAB) would be surprised to learn that they were in Shunyi. They are south of Beijing Riviera Villa and so far as I know, that's in Chaoyang. All the maps I've seen mark all the territory up north to the Wenyu River as being Chaoyang District. I teach at a school (北京市力迈学校 - Beijing Limai School) less than 5 minutes drive north of the Wenyu River. The International School of Beijing (ISB) is definitely inside Shunyi. It's just north of Yosemite Villa and across the road from Beijing Xin Yingcai School : Limai's new location and name. Iainsona (talk) 07:09, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Removing reference to WAB due to it obviously being in Chaoyang : here is the link to its directions page, giving its address in Chaoyang. http://www.wab.edu/contact/directions.shtml Iainsona (talk) 07:09, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Beijing Capital International Airport
So far as I know and as far as every map I've looked at, the Wenyu River is the dividing line in this area and BCIA is north of the Wenyu River. However, I cannot find an on-line reference giving the airport's address hence I will hold off on changing this for now. The post office where my school receives mail, however, is just a few hundred metres south of the main north-south runway of the airport and they stamp incoming and outgoing mail as being in Shunyi so if the airport is in an enclave of Chaoyang, it's a pretty funny looking enclave. If you can read chinese, please see http://www.bjchy.gov.cn/chaoyang/ the official website of Chaoyang District, where it includes 首都机场街道 (Capital Airport Subdistrict) as one of its subdivisions. Malcolmyang (talk) 04:04, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
