As explained to wiki by mr. shubhendu jha:(Noun, name of a person especially male). In eastern part of India it is commonly used. It is combined by two words 1.) Shubh and 2.) Indu, 'Shubh' means Bless and 'Indu' means Moon, so the meaning of Shubhendu is "Blessed Moon". To pronounce “Shubhendu” is bit complicated please refer PhoneticsBengali language#Phonetics to get help.
