Shruti Sharma is a model and former contestant at Miss World. She is the daughter of businessman Sushil Sharma and her mother Mrinal. Shruti had always aspired to clinch the crown. She said she had always wanted to be part of the glamour world. She would like to learn from the first-hand experiences of professionals in the field of glamour.
Shruti did her schooling from CJM in Mussourie and the college syllabus at the Capital’s JMC, from where she graduated with sociology honours. Shruti has a younger sister Payal. Shruti brought up and spent most of her teens in Delhi has now migrated to Mumbai along with her parents.
Shruti had given a try in the beauty contest but did not succeed. So this year she came back with more determination and confidence and apart from winning the Femina Miss India-World title she also clinched The Femina Miss Photogenic Face.
Shruti has modeled for Sunsilk Hair Pro-Colour, Shoppers’ Stop, Toyota Qualis, Proline and the Taj Group. Shruti now has still a long way to go and has her focus on The Miss World Title. She has recently filmed in the Bollywood movie named Tezaab - The Acid of Love. It is another Bollywood version of the Hollywood movie Unfaithful starring Diane Lane and Richard Gere along with the Bollywood adaptation of Hawas starring Meghna Naidu and Tarun Bose and Murder starring Mallika Sherawat and Ashmit Patel.
