Shri Ramchandra Surishwarji Maharaja

Shri Vijay Prem-Ramchandra Surishwerji Maharaja (1897?-1992) was a Jain Acharya. He established Achary Ramchandra Suri, a sub-sect of the Prem Suri sect of Svetambara Tapa Gachchha Jainism.
He lived for nearly 96 years and passed away in 1992. The city of Ahmedabad was shut on the day of his funeral.

- Shri Vajrasen Vijay ji,
- Acharya Shri Kirtiyash suriji M,
- Acharya Shri Nayvardhan suriji M,
- Shri Taporatna Vijay ji,
- Muni Shri Hitruchi Vijay ji.
Approximately 20% of all Jain monks and nuns belong the Ramchandra Suri samuday, or sub-sect. His samuday currently has 1400 monks and nuns and 23 Acharyas under the leadership of Acharya Shri Hembhushan Suri.
