Shri. Vysyaraju Kasi Viswanatham Raju was the first MLA of Berhampur located in the Ganjam district of Orissa. Big Bazaar, the most famous street in the business district of Berhampur, has been re-named to "Kasi Raju Marg" in fond memory of the late Vysyaraju Kasi Viswanatham Raju.
