Shrew mole

Six species of moles are known as shrew moles because of their resemblance to shrews:
- Four species in the subfamily Uropsilinae
- The Japanese Shrew Mole, Urotrichus talpoides
- The American Shrew-mole, Neurotrichus gibbsii
There are also four species of shrews called mole shrews, genus Anourosorex
