[edit] Regarding edits to Vidshadow

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Shootingsignals! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img[0-9]*\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]*/.*\.png, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 04:33, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Help create submission?

Im trying to help create an submission for the site I work for - www.vidshadow.com but I dont really know what to say, maybe you can help me or do it? You look like you have skill. :) Let me know. - Josh Shootingsignals 05:16, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I think you're going to end up out of luck. Wikipedia generally doesn't look fondly on people trying to promote their businesses (websites, etc.) on Wikipedia. Something has to be notable before it can be included on Wikipedia, and people are strongly discouraged from editing pages related to themselves or organizations with which they are involved. Since you've recently created an account and haven't edited any other articles on Wikipedia, most people will assume that you're here only to promote your website. I don't know if that's the case, but it might be best to follow the advice given out often on Wikipedia: If it's notable enough, someone else will write the article. If not, then maybe Wikipedia doesn't need it...
I hope that I'm not too discouraging. Wikipedia's a great place, but there are a lot of policies and rules to become familiar with. Once you understand them, it's a great place for learning and contributing to others' learning. I hope you'll stick around and experience more of it. —PurpleRAIN 19:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Response to your questions

Hi. I've been on (and still am on) a wikibreak. However, I finally responded briefly to your comments on my talk page at User talk:Willscrlt#creating article. I am glad to see that you were recently adopted. That should help you get over the initial learning curve here intact. :-) E-mail me if you have other questions. --Willscrlt (Talk) 11:39, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
