[edit] Nice name
May I just add how much I love the name of this template. :) - ulayiti (talk) 05:35, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- I second that. 24.126.199.129 08:23, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Palmer Eldritch
I was going to remove this title from the template, but thought maybe there was a short story of this name? As far as I know the only precursor to the novel Palmer Eldritch was the Perky Pat story. It's exciting to see how many stories have articles! Jolomo 14:29, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- Nope, it's just a novel. I've removed it. - ulayiti (talk) 15:01, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Large change notice
I just made a rather large change, incorporating information from this chronology and this list of titles. --193.11.177.69 15:13, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Does this list need to be this long? It's huge for a template and really distracting with all the red links... -RaCha'ar 05:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- It is possibly the largest infobox I've ever seen. Perhaps we could remove the redlinks, put them on this talk page, and then if/when any of them go blue, add them back into the template? --Dreaded Walrus 21:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'd rather just make it collapsible. Back in a moment... grendel|khan 16:34, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- There we go. The contents are a bit smaller, and it can be hidden if the user wants. (Also, if more than one of these boxes is on a page, all but the first will default to rolled-up into the titlebar. I'm looking into getting it rolled up by default.) grendel|khan 16:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Breaking it down further
The list isn't chronological by publishing date (else "Roog" would be first), and it's not alphabetical. It's pretty long, tool. Might it be worthwhile to break it into chunks like {{Future History}}, but by year, or decade, or period? grendel|khan 16:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Broke it down chronologically, by decade. Tried to do it by year, but it was too much. Also cut out some things that weren't short stories. For example, scripts were included and are now removed.--Cast (talk) 00:54, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Deprecate this template?
Now that the centralized template:Philip K. Dick includes an index of short stories, this template is unnecessary. I move that it be depreciated, and that all articles currently using it instead use the universal Works of Philip K. Dick template.--Cast (talk) 20:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
