[edit] Map

The ELL map appears to have been updated, should it be removed or is there one showing Shoreditch that can be inserted in place?

[edit] Photos

I went there today to take some pictures of the station before it closes, and was amused to find quite a few other people doing the same. On the 9th it'll probably be packed. BillyH 16:26, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Going to put the pictures on Wikimedia Commons? Edward 07:41, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Put a few on just now (Image:Shoreditch platform 6-6-06.jpg, Image:Shoreditch roundel 6-6-06.jpg and Image:Shoreditch exterior 6-6-06.jpg). I initially didn't see any point as I assumed there'd already be lots (the closure has been assumed for at least five years now) but there was only one other there, the image seen on this article. [edit] Date

Are we sure Shoreditch opened in 1869? Most places seem to give the year of 1876, including the East London Railway article. Indeed, it had this year in the article at one point. BillyH 16:04, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

According the only reference source I can find outside Wikepedia, the line was open from Wapping southwards in 1869. It does not give dates for further north. This is from Jowetts Railway Centres, vol. 1. I suspect you are right, and I'll update it if I can find anything more positive. --Tivedshambo 22:20, 10 June 2006 (U

[edit] One of the stations used in the movie Tube Tales.

Does anyone think its notable to state this on the article.

It was used in the segment "My father the liar" which starred Ray Winstone. Dan the Man1983 (talk) 05:43, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
