The Rabbi's grandson was not Sholom Schwadron, the grand rebbe, as his biography is in the pesac Krone books, he was a 5th cousin who claimed he studied with Rabbi Schwadron, and as a place of honor, took his name after graduating from rabbinical school. My uncle Abe, who had been the head of the music department at UCLA was the grand rabbi's nephew, visted the magid and asked for an audience.
