[edit] Starting off...

Hello all,

I created this article because I noticed that many links were mistakenly made to the baseball player's article instead of this novel's article. Then, of course, I found that there wasn't an article about the book. So I made one. :)

Let me start off by saying that I've never read the book, but after my girlfriend bought Field of Dreams for me for Valentine's Day, I remembered how much I liked the movie. Thus, I'm planning to read the book sometime soon, and probably expand this article more. This being said, everything here should be taken with a grain of salt at this point. I've been trying to keep my additions to things I'm very sure are true about the book.

I have one source to speak of at this point (others being websites): one of the special features on the Field of Dreams DVD. Its ISBN is 1417011297 if anyone cares to add it to the article.

Have at it!

[edit] Continuing off...

Howdy, Divokz. I am currently reading this book, about halfway through, so, uh...hi. It's a good book. Engrossing, and magical. Thanks for making this article. -The Hams 22:35, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "If you build it, he will come."

I was just wondering if the phrase "If you build it, they will come" comes directly from the novel, or if it is justin the movie? --In Defense of the Artist (talk) 02:23, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

The catch-phrases were from the book. That one, plus "Ease his pain" and "Go the distance." Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 02:58, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
