Showtime! was the last J. Geils Band album to include Peter Wolf.
This was the third of three live albums recorded by the J. Geils Band. The others were "Live" Full House in 1972 Blow Your Face Out in 1976.
All three live albums released by the J. Geils Band were recorded in Detroit, Michigan, though at different venues (part of Blow Your Face Out was recorded in Boston, as well).
