Showdown at Somerby
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Showdown at Somerby was a regular golf tournament on the Nationwide Tour played at the Somerby Golf Club in Byron, Minnesota, USA. It was cancelled[1] after four years because of a lack of corporate sponsorship.[2]
The title sponsor from 2004 to 2006 was Scholarship America, which is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charity that is the largest provider of scholarships for postsecondary education in the country. The title sponsor for the 2007 tournament is Think Credit Union.
The 2007 purse was $500,000, with $90,000 going to the winner.
