Showdown at Shea was the name given to three professional wrestling events presented by the World Wrestling Federation at Flushing, New York's Shea Stadium, from 1972 to 1980.

- José Gonzáles and Kevin Sullivan fought to a draw (20:00).
- WWWF World Tag Team Championship: Chief Jay Strongbow and Billy White Wolf defeated The Executioners (#1 and #2) in a two out of three falls match to retain the titles.
- Boxer vs. wrestler: André the Giant defeated Chuck Wepner by countout (1:15 of round 3).
- WWWF World Heavyweight Championship: Bruno Sammartino defeated Stan Hansen to retain the title (10:19).
- Boxer vs. wrestler: NWF World Heavyweight Champion Antonio Inoki and Muhammad Ali fought to a draw after 15 rounds (shown to the stadium crowd via closed-circuit television).

- WWF Tag Team Championship: WWF Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund and Pedro Morales defeated The Wild Samoans (Afa and Sika) in a two out of three falls match, 2-0 (9:04), to win the titles.
- Bruno Sammartino defeated Larry Zbyszko in a steel cage match (15:10).
