For years the Showcase of the South has been one of Atlanta, Georgia's biggest shows of the year.
[edit] Overview
Originating in 1992 as merely a talent show to raise money for the Atlanta Food Bank, The Showcase of the South has changed into an opportunity for unsigned talent to perform in front of some of the today's biggest names in the industry. This also gives the performer's the chance to make connections and possibly get signed to a record company.
Frank Taylor, the CEO and founder of Tay'lord Entertainment, started the 1st Annual Showcase of the South in 1992. With the help of LaFace Records, the Showcase of the South was a success.
