Show Dog Nashville
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Show Dog Nashville is an American country music record label launched in 2005 by country music artist Toby Keith. The label is part of a joint venture between Keith and former DreamWorks Records executive Scott Borchetta, who operates the Big Machine Records imprint.
Show Dog's first single release was Toby Keith's "Big Blue Note" from his Honkytonk University album. The single made history by debuting at number 35 on the now-former Radio and Records country singles chart, the highest ever first-week rank from a new label's release.[citation needed] The label's first studio album release was Toby Keith's 2006 album White Trash with Money.
Show Dog is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and its records are distributed by Universal Music Group.
