From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Show Business Weekly is a performing arts trade paper published by Manhattan-based publisher Show Business Inc. The paper's editorial mission is to guide actors, singers and dancers toward success in their performing arts careers. It does this by running casting and audition notices (primarily for the New York City area) and by reporting on entertainment-related news and information.

According to its masthead, Show Business Weekly's principal staff includes publisher & editorial director David Pearlstein, managing editor Christopher Zara and contributing editor Annie Chadwick. The paper has been publishing since 1941, aside from a hiatus during the 1990s.
