ShowClix is a Pittsburgh-based live event search engine and online ticketing company. The Internet company, which was co-founded by new media entrepreneurs Joshua Dziabiak and Lynsie Camuso, is geared at giving event promoters and venues a platform to reach their fans, promote events and sell tickets online. The website's open database contains International event listings, venue details and performer information. The database contains user-generated event information which is submitted to the site by registered users free of charge. The company is also considered to be a pioneer in mobile ticketing and an independent alternative to Ticketmaster. [2].
ShowClix's website has its own blog, known as "The Shlog."

ShowClix launched in the United States in March 2007 [3], expanded into Canada in July of 2007 [4] and went global in December of 2007.
