Shotwick House

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shotwick House (also known as Shotwick Park) is a house to the west of the village of Saughall, Cheshire, England (grid reference SJ358703). It is a Grade II listed building.[1]

The house was built in 1872 to a design by John Douglas for Horace Trelawny, and was purchased by Thornycroft Vernon in 1906.[1][2] It was altered and partly rebuilt after a fire in 1907. It is built in orange and yellow brick with a red tile roof in Jacobean style.[1] Its stable courtyard, also designed by John Douglas, is listed Grade II.[3]
