The Short-tailed Field-tyrant (Muscigralla brevicauda) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Muscigralla. It is found in Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and pastureland.
