The Short-tailed Babbler (Malacocincla malaccensis) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
