Shor is a 1972 Indian Hindi movie written, produced and directed by Manoj Kumar , who also plays the lead role in the film. Manoj Kumar loses his first wife (Nanda) in an accident and his son sees the event and is traumatised and loses his speech. How Manoj gets his son to recover is the focus of the film. In the end, his son gets his voice back but Manoj Kumar goes deaf and can't hear him sing. The film also stars Jaya Bhaduri, Kamini Kaushal, Asrani, Madan Puri and Premnath. The haunting and popular music is composed by the duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film performed "below average" business at the box office.[1]
