Shook Ones is a melodic hardcore band from Bellingham, Washington that have since relocated to Seattle, Washington. The band has done several tours of the United States and a three-week tour of Europe. In April 2007, the band toured Japan playing several shows with Japanese melodic hardcore band Easel.
On January 9th, 2008, it was announced on Punknews.org that Shook Ones would be doing a split 7" with fellow ex-Revelation Records band End of A Year, released by the Philadelphia based record label Runner Up Records.
The band is sometimes referred to by an alternative pronunciation of their name. Die-hard fans often pronounce the name as one word, with a short "o" and emphasis on the last syllable (Shuhkwanz).
