Sholi is an indie/alternative/experimental rock band that originated in Davis, California, and now has members dispersed throughout the Bay Area. The members include primary songwriter Payam Bavafa, drummer Jonathon Bafus, and bassist Eric Ruud.

They have been described as 'psychedelic, noisy, and mathematically ethereal'[1] and have been compared to the likes of Blonde Redhead, The Dirty Three, and King Crimson.
